Caldo de Ejotes con Calabacitas

Come celebrate Día de los Muertos with UTSA Libraries, the UTSA Rec Center and La Despedida this Wednesday November 2nd (tomorrow).  From 5:30-6:30, we’ll be demonstrating (and eating) Caldo de Ejotes con Calabacitas–a spicy shrimp soup from Sonora, enriched with green beans and zucchini.

This is the third event in a year-long culinary series, sponsored by UTSA Special Collections, the UTSA Rec Center Demo Kitchen, and La Despedida. The demonstrations are open to all UTSA staff, faculty and students. Rec Center membership is not required. For more information (and upcoming events), see the Culinary Tour Page.
